EVOLVE — by Tricera
Waste becomes design.
About Tricera
Tricera explores play, design, and community through objects built for adaptation, resilience, and longevity.
EVOLVE
EVOLVE is Tricera’s circular-design arm. It takes the visible waste created around pickleball—especially cracked and dead balls—and gives that material the opportunity to become something useful, beautiful, and at home on the court.
The first major exploration is a sculptural collection vessel made from reclaimed Coroplast signs. Weather-resistant sheets are scored and folded into a faceted, basalt-like form that collects another waste stream: discarded pickleballs.
The circular system
Discarded signs become collection infrastructure. Dead pickleballs are gathered. Recovered material becomes new court objects, furniture, accessories, installations, and products. Those forms return to pickleball spaces.
Collect → Recover → Reimagine → Return
Our point of view
Imperfections and evidence of former lives are not flaws to hide. They are the story of the material—and proof that design can keep useful resources in play.
Nothing leaves the court without the opportunity to become something else.
